American actress Hayden Panettiere was born on August 21, 1989, in Palisades, New York.When she was four, Hayden snagged a role on One Life to Live before moving over to Guiding Light when she was eight years old. She has since appeared on Ally McBeal, Malcolm in the Middle, Punk'd, and Law & Order: SVU.Though she was only 17, by the time Hayden Panettiere gained stardom as one of the leads on NBC's hit superhero drama Heroes, she'd already been acting for more than 16 years. After appearing in television commercials beginning at 11 months old, flaxen-haired Panettiere was cast as a regular on One Life to Live at five.Hayden recorded several singles for Disney's Ice Princess and is now working on her debut due out sometime in 2008. She has had songs featured in the DVD release of Cinderella III and the Bridge to Terabithia.
